"We are from Canada and decided to do IVF abroad. We started researching clinics in different countries and settled on two countries, and 3 clinics in each. After contacting all of them, and meeting virtually with two of them, we decided to go with Embryolab.

From the beginning of our communication with our coordinator, Marianna, we felt reassurance that we were in good care and taken seriously. Actually, Marianna is the reason we chose the clinic: she was professional, transparent, knowledgeable, and most importantly, accompanied us throughout all the process, from our early questions to all the virtual meetings with our doctor, and to each of my embryo transfers in the surgery room.

We started the process in November 2022 (first emails) and flew in February 2023 for our first round. When we arrived for the first time at the clinic, Marianna was there waiting for us, greeting us as old friends. It was so reassuring to know that someone was there for us to help us navigate everything in a foreign country!

All our appointments were straight forward, everyone was very professional, from the secretary at the desk, to the janitor, to the administration office taking our payment. Everyone seems pleased to work at Embryolab, and it makes a real difference for us attending the clinic.

Doctors are very professional. My main doctor was Dr. Drakopoulos, but since he was based in Athens, Dr. Dimitraki and Dr. Kyriakidis were the ones doing my tests and treatments. I always felt safe, listened and cared for while being with them, and while talking with Dr. Drakopoulos. I do wish I could have met Dr. Drakopoulos in real life but I understand the reality of where he is, and his expertise on the subject made me feel totally comfortable with the fact that it was a distance assessment, with the help of the other doctors following me at the clinic.

We did two egg retrievals by Duo-Stims, ended up with 5 embryos, and did three embryo transfer of our embryos (2 double transfers and 1 embryo transfer) with no success during the year 2023. In August 2024, we decided to go the double donation route. I went to Embryolab in December 2024 for an Hysteroscopy (I was not able to get it done in Canada in the province where I live, after a full year of trying to get the appointment). We found out that I had a mild chronic endometritis and they prescribed me antibiotics. In January 2025, we had the email telling us they found us an egg donor. In February 2025, we had the news of 3 beautifully graded embryos. In March 2025, I went back to Greece for an embryo transfer. And November 30th 2025, I gave birth to our son.

I can only talk highly of Embryolab to anyone who ask me about our journey. I thank everyone working at the clinic for their support, their smile, their professionalism, their care. I always felt good going in and leaving the clinic. And we are eager to go for our next little one, bringing with us our dear Thomas to meet the incredible team of Embryolab and the ones who help us create our dearest family. Thank you so much!"

"We recommend Embryolab to anyone requiring IVF assistance to help with your journey of becoming parents.

After failures in our home country of Canada and three more cycle failures (with no successful pregnancy) at another IVF clinic in Thessaloniki, we decided to move over to Embryolab.

Cost wise this was so much more cost effective than IVF in Canada. We could attempt several cycles including cost of travel for the cost of one cycle in Canada and also have the latest and best advancements for IVF technology.

With a complicated case of both male and female factors, this was the best decision we could have ever made. The facility is very clean, comforting and relaxing with all the latest technologies. Staff interactions were always very friendly with anybody at the clinic.

Our international coordinator Marianna was awesome throughout all of our travels back and forth to Thessaloniki. She was always available when we had a question and we truly appreciate her support throughout this journey.

Dr. Kyriakidis was exactly who we needed to finally achieve our dreams of having a baby. From our first attempt we were successful at becoming pregnant. Unfortunately we had two miscarriages but Dr. Kiriakidis continued to personalize and tweak our plan to achieve our ultimate goal.

That personalization resulted in successfully having our first child in November of 2024. A beautiful healthy baby boy.
