“My partner and I just went through IVF cycle with Dr Venetis. This is our fourth IVF altogether, and first with Dr Venetis. "I had the unfortunate experience of being an international patient of Dr. Venetis last year, and I cannot recommend him.

During my embryo transfer, Dr. Venetis performed the procedure in a way that ultimately damaged my embryo. The initial attempt failed, and my embryo had to be returned to the incubator, which was incredibly distressing. To make matters worse, I was left in a gynecological chair for over 45 minutes with a full bladder, leading to significant emotional trauma that I’m still dealing with today. I’m currently receiving treatment at a specialized university clinic that typically assists war veterans and first responders.

Additionally, during my egg collection, my endometrioma was inadvertently pierced, necessitating a course of antibiotics. I was also concerned about the treatment plan Dr. Venetis provided, which seemed suboptimal. Upon returning to Australia, I sought a second opinion and was advised to undergo surgery for my endometriosis, down regulation before my next embryo transfer, and was informed that I was understimulated. I learned that the embryo transfer technique used by Dr. Venetis was inadequate, and my previous attempt could not have been successful.

The handover note prepared by Dr. Venetis for my new specialist contained numerous factual errors, downplayed the severity of my procedure, and inaccurately attributed the cycle outcome to my age.

Furthermore, the treatment cost turned out to be 1,000 euros higher than what was initially agreed upon, and I was only informed of this change 24 hours before the procedure.

When I raised my concerns with Dr. Venetis, he stated that he delivered value for money, but I felt dismissed and unheard. Overall, my experience was deeply unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend his services."
