"We went to Serum in November 2024 due to recurrent miscarriages. We’d had tests in the UK and been told nothing was wrong but I felt the UK Drs were missing something and Serum had been recommended by a friend who went there and conceived with their help.

From the initial telephone consultation in September through to our visit and tests in November Serum were fantastic. I felt reassured from the initial consultation that they would do everything they could to find out what our issue was.

Their staff were truly professional and compassionate people. The clinic was spotless and adorned with pictures of children born thanks to the doctors at Serum which gave us even more confidence. We stayed in their accommodation next door which was beautiful. And even managed some site seeing!

Their advanced tests discovered an infection and following a short course of treatment for the infection we conceived naturally.

It will be a year next week since we went and after 7 losses before we went to Serum I sit here with my 7 week old baby boy in my arms.

We could not be more grateful.

“My relationship with Serum IVF has spanned 9 years so far because of the caring nature of the clinic headed by the most genuine caring founder and director Penny Abatzi. I first approached the clinic to do ivf and then some endometriosis surgery and hysterscopy and immune work up. The team were wonderful. The relationship this clinic has with local gynaecology hospitals nearby is a bonus. I kept in touch over the years and penny was thrilled to learn of our baby Sophie being born. I struggled with some major health complications with endometriosis and pancreatitis and recently reached out to penny for her knowledge and support. She arranged the best doctors in Athens to take care of me and a special price with the surgeries. She was under no obligation to help me as much as she has but she simply is a good person who wants to help others. I wish the doctors in England could learn from this women and her staff. Penny now runs a state of the art clinic which was a life long dream of her and her husband and it really is a beautiful piece of architecture and gentle environment to be supported during the stressful times of infertility. I went to visit her last week and she met my daughter for the first time and my mother who had the opportunity to thank her with my father also for the clinics support. ❤️ I highly recommend Serum IVF”

“For four years we tried to conceive our second child, after some testing in Ireland I was told I was in early menopause with extremely low amh and ivf was our best chance, so we done a few rounds of ivf here in Ireland either having total fertilization failure, embryos never making it past day 4 or my eggs Disintegrating with icsi, I was told my egg quality was too bad and donor eggs should be our next step, me and my partner then started looking at clinics aboard and found serum, from our first consultation we agreed this will be the clinic to have one last try with our own eggs! Plus Greece is such a beautiful country for a hoiladay! On our first trip I done ovarian PRP, hysteroscopy and we both had some tests done, we then flew back 8 weeks later for egg collection, they amazingly collected 8 mature eggs the most I have ever collected in other rounds was 3! I believe this was because of the ovarian PRP and stims that suited my body better, I found it more tailored to me, I done a 3 day transfer and it worked! We now have a beautiful healthy baby boy who is already 10 weeks old! (And 2 blastocysts on ice) serum has such an amazing incredible team of doctors and embryologists who are so skilled! They are so advanced in the ivf world! We are forever grateful to this clinic who gave us our beautiful baby!”
